Terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms apply to coaching services from Lock In Athletics (“I”, “me”), run by Francisco D’Avila, and to use of this website and the Lock In Athletics app. By applying, or by becoming a client, you agree to them.
The service
I provide personal coaching: training programs, adjustments based on your logs, nutrition tracking support and check-ins, delivered through the app and by message. The specific service, price and length for each client are agreed with you in writing (email or message) before you start.
Your health and safety
- Exercise carries a risk of injury. You take part at your own risk.
- Check with a doctor before starting if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or are unsure whether it is safe for you to train.
- Tell me about any injury, pain or health change straight away, and stop any exercise that causes sharp pain.
- Calorie, macro and calorie-burn figures in the app are estimates and not medical advice. Coaching is not a substitute for medical or dietetic care.
Payments
You agree to pay the fees we agree on, on the agreed schedule. If a payment is overdue I may pause your program until it is settled. Cancellations and refunds are handled as agreed with you in writing, and nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Your account and the app
Keep your login private and tell me if you think someone else has used it. I may pause or close an account that is misused. The app is provided as a coaching tool, and I aim to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available.
Content
The programs, text, design and software are mine and are for your personal use while you are a client. Please do not copy or share them without asking. You keep ownership of the information and photos you put into the app, and you allow me to use them to coach you.
Liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those, and to the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and my total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
Changes and law
I may update these terms and will post the new version here with the date. These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
